Step Into Your Next Evolution as a Yoga Teacher
Join us for a transformational 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training—a journey designed to deepen your wisdom, expand your impact, and elevate your credentials to RYT 500.
Created for teachers who have already completed their 200-Hour YTT, this advanced program invites you to grow — personally, professionally, and spiritually.
Hosted by Challenge to Change, Inc., a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance, and offered in collaboration with two of Dubuque’s premiere yoga studios—B1 Yoga and Soul Revolution—this unique community-based training blends tradition, connection, and innovation. RYT-200 students who complete our 300 hour yoga teacher training are able to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT 500.
With a heart-centered focus on movement and well-being, you’ll explore the powerful relationship between mind and body, uncover how anatomical systems respond to both movement and stillness, and expand your understanding through tools from Ayurveda, Reiki, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence.
More than just a training, this is an invitation to step into your fullest potential—as a yoga teacher, a mindful leader, and a lifelong learner.

B1 Yoga
Krissy is a certified 95-hour kids yoga instructor and an E-RYT 500 hour certified adult yoga instructor. She has been a personal trainer and taught group fitness classes for 20 years and loves bringing health and wellness into the lives of everyone she can.
Yoga became a more regular part of her practice over 10 years ago and it changed every aspect of her life. Knowing what yoga did for her own well-being and seeing what it has done for her kids, made Krissy passionate about wanting to share it with others on a more regular basis. After a few years as studio manager and instructing many classes at B1, she had the privilege of purchasing B1 from former owner Cally Burkle. Owning the studio has been amazing and she can't wait to see how she can continue to grow yoga in her community!
When not teaching yoga, you will find her working with students at the University of Dubuque, spending time with her 3 kids and many pets, hanging with friends, saving animals, and enjoying the outdoors soaking up the sunshine

Soul Revolution
Ashley is the founder and owner of Soul Revolution Yoga + Cycling, which opened its doors in December 2018. She is a certified yoga, cycling, Pilates, and strength instructor, passionate about creating a welcoming space for community and connection.
Ashley’s journey with yoga began in Iowa City while attending the University of Iowa, a few years after the passing of her father. She quickly found healing in the practice, feeling her body relax and her mind quiet. Through a local studio, she discovered a consistent practice, a group of like-minded people, and a community that felt like family. Inspired by this experience, she enrolled in Hot House Yoga’s 200-Hour Teacher Training with the dream of one day opening her own studio to offer others the same sense of belonging and transformation.
Realizing the powerful benefits of cross-training, Ashley expanded Soul Revolution’s offerings beyond yoga to include cycling, Pilates, and strength classes. She believes that blending these disciplines creates a well-rounded, sustainable approach to physical and mental wellness, helping students build strength, endurance, and resilience both on and off the mat.
For the past four years, Ashley has been leading Soul Revolution’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program, diving deeper each year into the many facets of yoga and personal growth with her students.
Outside of the studio, Ashley is a proud mom to three little ones (all five and under) who love adventuring outdoors, and she jokes that she has a fourth "kid" in her husband, Ricky. Together, they enjoy family time, outdoor activities, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.

Challenge to Change Inc
Starting my own business was both terrifying and exhilarating. At 30 years old, I found myself widowed with three young children after the sudden loss of my husband, Kyle, in a car accident. In an instant, I went from sharing a life with the love of my life to navigating the unimaginable—raising our three-year-old and 15-month-old twins alone. In the face of heartbreak, I had a choice: merely survive or choose to thrive. I chose to thrive. I chose to turn my pain into purpose.
Over the next few years, I focused on raising my children in the way Kyle and I had envisioned. Life brought me love again, and I remarried a wonderful man, Tom Schreiber, who later adopted my children as his own. It was during this period that I also embarked on a new journey—one that would become my life’s mission. I founded Challenge to Change, Inc., a company built to inspire individuals to embrace health, happiness, and a positive mindset.
As a former elementary teacher, my heart has always been in education, and working with students and school personnel remains at the core of my mission. My own journey of loss and resilience fueled my passion for teaching others how to cultivate happiness and well-being. I named my business Challenge to Change to reflect a core belief: the power to change and create a fulfilling life resides within us. It isn’t something we find externally—it is a choice we make every day. Understanding this truth can be transformative, leading us exactly where we need to be.
Today, Challenge to Change has grown into a company dedicated to equipping individuals with proactive and preventative mindfulness strategies. Our programs include the Mindful Education in Schools curriculum, Kids and Adult Yoga Teacher Trainings, online learning tools for schools and families, numerous children’s books, and various mindfulness-based resources. I truly believe that empowering children with skills in positive thinking and self-compassion can change the world.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Illinois University, am an E-RYT 500 yoga instructor, a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher, and a certified sound healer. Through my work, I continue to pursue my noble goal of raising happy, healthy, and safe children who make the world better than they found it.
